• GEF Project: "Building IABIN"
  The Global Environment Facility, through the World Bank as Implementing Agency and the Organization of American States (OAS) as Executing Agency, has awarded a US$6 million grant for the implementation of IABIN. This project is co-financed by more than 70 institutions from the Western Hemisphere that will contribute more than US$29 million in in-kind support.
   
• IABIN DGF Project: "Developing Connectivity between Biological and Geospatial Information in Latin America and the Caribbean"
  As part of the IABIN Connectivity Program Program, IABIN is establishing a regional data dissemination mechanism in Central America and the Caribbean that supports the linking of environmental, biodiversity, and geospatial information. Funding for this project is provided by the World Bank and co-financed by the U.S. Geological Survey and NASA.
  
  The IABIN Connectivity Program is the geospatial component of IABIN and aims to facilitate the linking of geospatial information with biodiversity and environmental information, as well as to provide mechanisms to view, analyze, and disseminate geospatial data.
