I3N will be composed of interoperable invasive species information nodes using common standards, forming a network that supports the work of the invasive species community in the Americas. IABIN (the Inter-American Biodiversity Information Network) is an initiative of the Summit of the Americas that promotes compatible means of collection, communication, and exchange of information relevant to decision-making and education on biodiversity conservation.
