IABIN Focal Points

IABIN Focal Points are the official representatives of each country to IABIN.  The 34 Focal Points and a NGO representative conform the IABIN Council. Focal Points are formally designated by governments through the country's Permanent Mission to the OAS

To encourage collaboration with the Clearing-House Mechanism of the CBD , in many countries a single entity holds both the CHM Focal Point and the IABIN Focal Point positions.
