IABIN Focal Points

IABIN Focal Points are the official representatives of each country to IABIN.  The 34 Focal Points and two NGO representatives make up the IABIN Council. Focal Points are formally designated by governments through the country's Permanent Mission to the OAS

To encourage collaboration with the Clearing-House Mechanism of the CBD, in many countries a single entity holds both the CHM Focal Point and the IABIN Focal Point positions.
